I've done many installs on more complicated vehicles but on the GP it will crank but not fire up, anyone have any experience doin one of these and if so any clues what may be wrong? 88GrandResto Posted December 21, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2009 haven't tried any of that, but yeah car starts and runs fine with the key, I just tucked all the wiring up under the dash till X-mas just want to get it working prior to then. home on a sick day today so I figured I'd pole the internet for some info. slick Posted December 21, 2009 Report Share Posted December 21, 2009 I'm not too awful familiar with the Autostart stuff, however looking over the installation manual, the basics are the same. Check the hood pin switch (if you used it, however the hood pins are more troublesome then what they are worth), check and verify that you have the proper tach, and that it is programmed. rockfangd Posted December 26, 2009 Report Share Posted December 26, 2009 sounds like you need to install a security bypass module.
