GrandPrixLover2
well it is a 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass but it has the same 3100 motor in it. What happened is the IAC valve went bad and it wouldn't idle when you let off the gas. it would just shut off. So we didn't know if it was the IAC or the TPS, so we took the throttle body completely off and it has just been one thing after another. First off I hate those damn clips on the hoses you have to use pliers to get off. Then we had to take off the line that runs from the water pump, to the heater core in the firewall to get to the last bolt to take off the TB. Now we're trying to put everything back together, but the hose that runs from the metal coolant line to the heater core, just behind the EGR valve I had to cut because the connector broke off into the hose when we took it off. So any suggestions as to what to do next. And nooooo! junking it is not an option. lol
