car died after getting fuel

I went and got gas the other day even though i had 3/4 tank before heading home for winter break, leaving the pump the car stalled out. It would crank over but would not hold idle. after a few minutes it starts and i drove 60 miles home. The following day car starts up fine again, change a cv joint, go for a ride and the anti lock light is on, come home car dies in the driveway but starts up fine. A few minutes later go to move the car and it doesnt start, I put fuel cleaner in it, still nothing. finally get it started and let it sit running for a half hour, thought it had cleared up. I went out to the store tonight and i was planning on toping off with 91 octane to see if that helps at all, the other was 89, car died at the end of the drive way and now will not even turn over. Any ideas what to look check?

Alternator probably died. ABS light would be an indication of low voltage. Check the aux. positive terminal by the drivers strut tower and make sure its tight first. Will it start if boosted?

I could really use some help here. Car started up right away today but when I went leave the anti lock light came on, still dont feel confident driving it. The light did not come on with the car in neutral or park while revving, only in drive. I have I have read similar symptoms occur with a bad EGR or TCC, any advice?

Something tells me the ABS is not exactly related. Usually, the ABS light coming on after you start driving is an indication of a wheel speed sensor reading 0. You mentioned changing a CV joint...I would check that side out first, as something may have gotten messed up while replacing it.

As for issues starting...check all of your terminal connections, including the auxiliary post. Could be something simple like that.

found a vacuum tube that was disconnected, since fixing that the abs hasnt lit up again. the car now idles fine but when coming to a stop the rpms get go lower than 500, thinking this is just bad gas right now.

car started like it has this morning, the abs light still came on once i started drive, same story on the way home going to put a gauge on it soon to check the battery/alt. Something feels off while driving, but i cant pinpoint exactly what it is, when maintaining speed, slowing down or. I've never had bad gas in my car before so I don't know if thats the problem, if it is the gas why does the abs light come on?

What is the idle relearn, is that a sensor or something i should check?
