jeremy
$900 for a rebuild kit? I have seen new crate engines sell for less then that...
oscar_wilde
I think that is ridiculous. I think you can get all of the parts you need for a complete rebuild for less than three hundred from RockAuto. (Assuming you haven't ruined every single part that can be replaced) I did notice no complete kit exists, but I don't think it would be that difficult to get the list of gaskets and parts needed. CSI_MuNkY
Crate engines are getting fewer and fewer. IMO, for $925 US, I would do it. Maybe its just cause I'm in Canada but I couldn't get all those parts new for that price. FYI, 96-97 LQ1 pistons alone on rock auto are $268.74 Pistons, Rings and Gasket/Bolt kit I am already at $855.32, shipping adds another $80 So $925 for a full kit = good deal to me! Thanks for posting that supertrick Jamie
AL
Anyone notice the 3.1 Turbo rebuild kit? Also, I might pick up that rebuild kit for the 97 MC im picking up
Andrew
you wouldnt need that 'Master kit', it includes new camshafts which is why its so highly priced. just get the 'Overhaul kit' for $500.
