HELP Headlights stuck on bright!!!!

Headlights are stuck on bright!!! Wheni try to hit the dimmer nothing happens it just feels like the switch isnt catching...Like you know how it cliks when you hit the dimmer...there is no click.

I've seen a few cars that wouldn't "click" if the tilt column was down. Try putting your column up and see if it clicks. The adjuster for the dimmer is bolted to the colun itself, take down the lower black plastic and carpeted panels and you should kinda see it if you hit the adjuster and follow the metal rod. I've adjusted 2 89 CS's so far by just tweaking the bracket just a little, it's probably the case with yours.

it used to work with the wheel tilte up like you said to try but not anymore. So you say it is a simple adjustment i dont really follow where you are trying to get me to look

That happened to me..But i was driving at night in the middle of town so instead of hig beaming people i just pulled on my switch real hard and broke the switch, but my highs did go off...now i have no high beams till i replace the switch...
