jeremy Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I just glanced through the thread and I though you were talking about the mustang too Quote
5speedz34 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 How bad is the knock? A video would be awesome. Isn't this the second engine in that car? Isn't this one low-mileage too? Quote
White93z34 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 i forgot to clarify that was in my dads mustang LOL Maybe I read something wrong... But that is what that post implied to me. .... since you asked so nicely, I'll move it back to the proper section. Quote

Isn't this one low-mileage too? not that bad and yes this one is low mileage. thought like i said a bit ago my neighbor who happens to have been a gm mechanic for 20 years saif he thought it was coming from one of the tensioner pullies since its intermitent and coming from that area Quote
hotrodolds Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I can believe that the tensioner is making that noise, especially with it being intermittent, and what not. A failed/failing tensioner will make all kinds of funky noises. Quote
