no nick posted my engine knock was probably from all my burnouts i was posting about i posted those were in the ford. but all this time the know has been in my cutlass LOL

How bad is the knock? A video would be awesome.

 

Isn't this the second engine in that car? Isn't this one low-mileage too?

not that bad and yes this one is low mileage. thought like i said a bit ago my neighbor who happens to have been a gm mechanic for 20 years saif he thought it was coming from one of the tensioner pullies since its intermitent and coming from that area

I can believe that the tensioner is making that noise, especially with it being intermittent, and what not. A failed/failing tensioner will make all kinds of funky noises.
