daytonboi Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 Other day I tore down a steering wheel out of a Chevy Lumina...do not have the year that the column is. The donor column from an floor shift and had SWRC on it. My car had a faulty wiper switch and the turn signals had gone bad as well. I also wanted SWRC. I pretty much changed everything inside my column with the other one. My radio controls work, my horn works. The air bag light flashes 7 or 9 times and then just stays on. Also of note my turn signals and brake lights don't work either. So either that switch was already bad or i didn't put something back together right. Questions. 1. What exactly fails on the turn signal switches? 2. What would make the air bag light come on? The airbag i installed was the one that was original to the car. I do however, have the one that came with the other column. Quote
