D M N Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 ok well i messed up the bumper on my sis's lumina and i have a friend that has a not so messed up 91 Grand Prix bumper will i fit? Quote
Redfox340 Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Well, it'll bolt-up but your fit & finish will be horrible. The lights, front end design and grill will either be overlaping or have severe gaps. So, in my opinion: no, it will not fit. - Erik Quote
91GranSport Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I guess it was worth a try, eh? We had tto do some cutting and some fiberglass/bondo work, but it turned out hell nice after he got it painted. then 2 weeks later it was totaled but things like that can bedone... BTW we called it the Del-RX (Del-Rex) - Justin Quote
91GranSport Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I have no problem with people trying things out, but some things are either just too difficult to accomplish or are better off in the hands of a professional. It wasn't a bad idea but it's not something you can do in a weekend or without professional help. At least if you want it done right. I guess it was worth a try, eh? D M N Posted November 5, 2003 Author Report Posted November 5, 2003 how much did the front end cost?? I dont want to get ripped off again buy a junkyard Quote
J Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 i got the front end by exchaning the motor (0 mile dohc) and a few hundred for bumpers and hood, the hood had really bad rust on the front lip so it was junked and i bought a new one for $300 so i'm not sure how much they go for but i know it's more than a few hundred.
