oil leak! need info?

ok so i rebuilt my 3800 last September 08 i've got 20k on the rebuild. And have replaced the harmonic balanced seal twice now and the damn thing is still leaking and i cant figure out why....both seals were felpro so im just wondering if maybe i should get one from gm or if anyone else knows anything I'm open to suggestions.....

is the balancer damaged at all?

 

you might try using a little rtv with the new seal.

You need a repair sleeve for the harmonic balance, go to autozone.

 

Should solve it, but more than likely you should get a new balancer for it. Its leaking because the seal wore it just enough to leak.

 

The repair sleeve kit typically works, but not always
