Crazy K
trying to tilt it at all... remove the upper plenum instead.
birdman
this man tells no lies, its still kind of a pain though, i would advise getting a o2 sensor socket if you dont already have one.
boulevard
I thought you had to put the car in neutral so you can rock the engine back and forth easier. Not sure but it's worth a try.
Crazy K
I forgot to add the emoticon trying to tilt it at all... remove the upper plenum instead. fixed. Q: HOW DO YOU ROCK AN ENGINE/POWERTRAIN THAT HAS THREE MOUNTING POINTS TO THE FRAME???? A: You don't. I've lifted LQ1's while attached to the transmission and frame... and they are solid. the dogbone mount is almost there only to prevent minimal shifting that could occur. CutSupreme93
I was wondering if the oxygen sensor was reverse threaded or not?
slick
Same subject, why the hell create a new one? I merged your two threads together. The answer is no.
5speedz34
The 3.4 is not designed to be rocked and the only real way to do it is with a ratchet strap. That said I WOULD NOT try it. What I did is went out and bought a offset O2 socket and used a ton of extensions and u-joints and broke the sensor free no problem. Make sure to spray it down.
