94 olds vert
So, I installed both of my radiator fans, One was on the car with the old radiator (driver side), and the other I got from the junk yard, because my other one had a broken bracket.(passenger side) After letting the engine warm up and bleeding the radiator, The drive side fan kicked on and worked fine, but the passenger side fan never kicked on, so I shut off the engine. Is that normal or do I have a no good fan? I saved my old passenger side fan, and threw out the mount. I am thinking of switching out the fan motor and seeing if I can get it to run, with the old fan. On an unrelated note I have trans fluid leaking in front of the engine, I tightened the clamp and adjusted the house and all that made it do is leak from another spot. GP1138
Try running 12V straight to the motor, but also turn on the A/C to Max. That commands the pass. side fan on.

I had the A/C pulley pulled out. Because It didn't work, and I sick of hearing it squeal. So, My passenger one not working is ok, because I don't have A/C? 19Cutlass94
it doesnt turn on because the coolant wasnt hot enough. the drivers side fan is the primary, and about 99% of the time will do the job. If it cant, the secondary fan passengers side, will kick on. Honestly, nothing to worry about.

Crazy K
this is approximate on temperatures: a/c off fan 1: 230 fan 2: 240 a/c on fan 1: 215 fan 2: 230 it is normal to not see fan 2 run, since the turn on temps are so high. 94 olds vert
Thanks! I didn't get it any near 240, so that is why it probably didn't kick on.
