Any good experiences with any particular namebrand? What type radar detector do you have? and how much was it? This is just to compair namebrands and features.. see whats out there. im intrested in buying one really soon maybe this week and i dont wanna get screwed on a POS and have a ticket. Otherwise ive never bought one its excess weight.....nah i just never wanted one. other than that u can check out best buy the got a good selection although they(best buy) suck. ismellrealbad Posted September 15, 2003 Report Share Posted September 15, 2003 ive never used anything but whistler products.......i have no particular prefernce for them its just that thats all ive ever had. ive had the 1630 1650 1670 and now havea 1730(newr looking 1630). no matter how much higher the model though, they all seem to have about the same range. is whistler as good as most of the rest or is there stuff significantly better, other than say a valentine one Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
