94 olds vert Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Did they put a cd in the original radio for '94? I currently have tapes, and I own no tapes. Could I remove my old radio and just plug the new one in and will it work? Quote
94 olds vert Posted October 23, 2009 Author Report Posted October 23, 2009 I mean cassettes , I couldn't think of the word earlier. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Yep. My parts car had an original CD player, I put it in my van. CD doesn't work which is very common. They command some bucks on ebay working or not. It will work fine in place of your cassette player. Quote
ripp Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I have one in my 94 and Im trying to fix one that I have laying around that the cd is acting up on Quote
jeremy Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 you're better off going aftermarket cd deck, it will sound better, play mp3s and finding a working stock cd unit is very difficult Quote
GP1138 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 you're better off going aftermarket cd deck, it will sound better, play mp3s and finding a working stock cd unit is very difficult x a million. Or just get a cassette adapter for your stock tape player, it will sound decent and keep it looking stock. Quote
