Garrett Powered Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 lets see the welds. you welded aluminum with it?!? I need to get a mig welder. I have been trying to find a hobart on craigslist Quote
Leadfoot Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Not bad. They look better on there than I would have expected. A little alignment work should help. I have had a welder for almost a year and only was able to use it the last 6 months. It takes plenty of practice to get good so don't get discouraged. Any scrap metal you can find laying around is great for practice. The tips don't look bad. Out of place welding (what it takes to weld those tips on) is the hardest to do. Quote
jeremy Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 I had those tips on my old '99 GTP....sometimes I really liked them, other times I thought they were ugly as shit Quote
