Tie rod ends

On my wifes 06 Impy. Pass side has a bit 'o wobble. Bad outer end. Now, I already have my mind somewhat made up (due to parts store guys suggestions to replace with Moog or equivalent due to being much better quality). Gonna order off of rockauto or Amazon due to them being about 40% cheaper than parts store, even with shipping. Probably just gonna redo both since it'll need an alignment anyway. What brand would you guys go with? Thoughts and opinions welcomed.

Also, not a big deal, but when warming up (as in this week since hitting below freezing temps, and last winter included) every few times while warming up, but only when parked that I have noticed, the heater doesn't get warm at all, though temp gauge indicates operating temp. Engine or info center never indicates an overheat condition, though cold air comes from vents. I found out if I rev 'er up quick, it's like the thermostat opens or something and I instantly get heat. Then everything is a-ok. Thinking thermostat replacement is in order. What do you guys think?

I'd replace both like you said - the other one will probably fail right after you get the alignment lol. Get Moog - they last forever, espcially if you get the greaseable ones.

Sounds like you are low on coolant or have air in the cooling system.

Alright, thanks bout the tie rod ends.

Possible with the coolant, but if there was air wouldn't it have bled itself out by now? Have had the car since April 2008. Could be low, but if it was low enough to be a problem, I'd have had a dummy light come on (but there has been nothing). Will check though.

Dummy light wont always come on if coolant is low, if it enough to cool the engine, but not enough to make your heat warm, you will have the problem you are having

Exactly.

Don't go by dummy lights either, Just check the level.
