Turbo v-sick Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Well here it is, my new hybrid. Started with the stock center and turbine housing, had them machined for larger wheels. I used a 60mm 90 trim turbine wheel with a 71mm 53 trim compressor wheel. I have not driven the car yet, ran outta play time today. I did fire it up and bleed the cooling system... Quote
Turbo v-sick Posted October 11, 2009 Author Report Posted October 11, 2009 how much did you pay I have $620 in parts and machine work. If I charged myself labor for building the center it would have been $720 total... I have well over 300 miles on the turbo, It spools fast and hard. My fuel pump and injectors are keeping me to 6psi but I am in the process of fixing that... Quote

Rick you have the gt2871r 53mm 76 trim turbine shaft with a 60mm disco potato style compressor wheel. Very similar to the gt2860rshttp://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/catelog/Turbochargers/GT28/GT2860RS_739548_1.htm Quote
