I can fix alot of stuff but i have no patents for body work. since i been doing alot of reading I have been thinking about looking for an 92-96 gtp or somtin. but if they tend to go like that I'm not sure now.....

oh, and where are you from? if you are in california, it's not an issue, you know.

open the trunk and pull the side rugs back, and look at the area above the trunk. Also look at the body where the trailing arms mount and anywhere on the undercarriage and rockers and stuff.

a good move is to do some rust proofing, oil coating, or marine grease on trouble areas. I coat brake and fuel lines front to back on my cars with marine grease. If they are already rusty looking... I consider a "stationary" brake test important, which mean with the car running and in park... slam the brakes hard as you can a few times. it it fails it is better that it fails now and not in an emergency.

Marine grease? I would almost think that too much grease would hold moisture in?

Oil/grease repels water so as long as he has the line completely encased with grease it should be alright.

undercoating seems to trap moisture. grease to prevent water from getting on the lines and other parts is better, if that grease displaces water.
