94 olds vert
Last night I was going to replace my front speaker from the top and that wasn't going to happen. So my guess is you have to take stuff from the dash off and work your way up? And is the speaker the same size as the rear ones? I was able to replace those no problem. Crazy K
94 vert: crummy smaller round speaker mounted to a 4ish inch square mounting plate 5 1/4ish inch round speaker in the rear. dash top has to be removed. remove cluster bezel. CAREFUL WITH LIGHT SWITCH! unplug it after moving bezel out just a little. remove glove box insert. remove defrost vent cover. got hud? remove two 7mm bolts holding it in place. 6 bolts remain. two are hidden in the defrost track, two were hidden by the glove box insert, and one to the far left and right of the cluster. and sometimes pulling hte radio out of the way helps. jrcuttymann
Scared me too the first time I did it,but after that no problem. The hardest part are the two bolts under the defrost vent, after that piece of cake. The dash cover pulls right out when all SIX bolts are removed
