A while ago on ebay I saw Black pontiac emblems with skull & crossbones.

So I made a black and white Oldsmobile Emblem. Yes I know its crappy, Not bad for a first try.

Finished prepping the bumper. Its ready for paint tomorrow.

I think I will get the car back Monday or Tuesday this week.

Painted the brackets for the hood release.

Good question...

It was on the front of the radiator, The hood latch bolts onto it, along with some other nifty things...that I don't know what they are.

Yup, Almost every Hood I went too was rusted out.

I did find an ok 4 door hood...but will 4 door hood fit my 2 door vert?

Got the car back today, New radiator, Core support, All the new paint. Looks great!

Now I need to Put it all back together.

After driving the car home, I didn't have the lights on, But the tail lights were lit up after I turned the car off.

Any idea why the lights would still be on?

Glad to see it's back now, more or less in one piece.

I am just glad to see it back...Still have a lot more work to do.

I was at the junkyard today and was trying to pull off the crash bar, and the bolt was just spinning. There is a crossbar

that connects to the other side and its broken.

When I took off my old one I took the saw and cut it off. Because that crossbar to the other nut was broken.

I am thinking of taking a hack saw and just cutting the bolt off. I removed 5 but need to take 3 more off still.

So my dad found a '94 cutlass 'vert that was c4c at a local junkyard.

He went and looked at the car, and He wants me to take a look at it tomorrow.

I want to buy the whole car, so I have a parts car.

As for an aftermarket hood, you could try sherman inc. They are located in Romeo and sell aftermarket parts. I'm going to tell in my experience aftermarket body panels are of a much cheaper quality than factory.

My dad picked a new hood, bumper, head light assembly, crash bar and radiator fan.

The bumper is in terrible shape not even worth putting on the car, The hood is fair, It needs a good wash 'n wax. and more importantly rust free.

Other misc parts. I now have a lot of extra parts, but that is never a bad thing.

I have an extra set of corners, and I think I would like to try to clear a set of corners.
