GP1138 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Mine never fit right either. I gave up after like the first few times. The top mechanism on mine was a problem, it always seemed to pop up a few inches which didn't let the boot sit right. Quote
94 olds vert Posted October 3, 2009 Author Report Posted October 3, 2009 I have a Cutlass Supreme badge and I am wondering where to put it. I have NO other badges on my car except for the front hood emblem. I was thinking on the Left of Right of the deck lid. Quote
Twenty Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 Pictures? I'd probably tuck it in the corner of the decklid as you mentioned, or maybe even smack-dab in the center. Quote
94 olds vert Posted October 3, 2009 Author Report Posted October 3, 2009 Pictures Which is your favorite? Quote
jeremy Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 if you insist on putting in on, put it in the left as that is the factory location Quote
Twenty Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 I don't know why, but I kind of like the right side better. Quote
94 olds vert Posted October 3, 2009 Author Report Posted October 3, 2009 Ya, that's what I was thinking too. The center remind of Cutlass Supreme By Oldsmobile Quote
Crazy K Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 NOT IN THE MIDDLE. left or right would be passable, but I'd leave it off. Quote
KingVee Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 I would put it on the left too for the factory fitment look. Quote
rockfangd Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 this should be a voting poll. I say i like the right side Quote

I guess i'll just keep hitting the windshield with the rainx x-treme clean and drain my wiper fluid canister O.o lol.... those sports are so bad i'm probly going to have to get my front and back windows pulled to fix them properly... GutlessSupreme Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 If you really can't decide what to do with it, I'll buy it off ya since I smashed one of mine half off with my tool cart Quote

94 olds vert Posted October 8, 2009 Author Report Posted October 8, 2009 I feel Like I one the Lottery! The previous owner brought over the "bag" for the boot today. He found it in his garage. And guess what! The instructions were in there! And now I know how to put the boot on! So at 52 degrees I put the put on the boot correctly and went for a cruise! Next time, I will take a picture...I was embarrassed to because my car was so dirty. Quote
