z34_nut Posted September 12, 2003 Report Share Posted September 12, 2003 i just received a set of Pirelli 245/50/ZR16 tires, and i was woundering if i would have clearance issues with either the rear or front wheel well. another thing with my tires, i have 03 impala wheels. i had to offset with spacers, 5/16. must keep in mind that my wheels are located further in the hub then stock z34 wheels. Personally, i think they would be fine up front, but in back i might have a problem with swaybar clearance, can anybody help? one more thing, the wheel width in inches is 10.5 vs. stock 8.5. if they do mount, however, i will be more then happy to show some pictures. z34_nut Posted September 16, 2003 Author Report Share Posted September 16, 2003 thanks for the comment, fresh paint last week on another note, i called around various auto shops, and tire stores, they all said i would need a 7-8 inch wheel. oh well, i can live with 225's. i got a hell of a deal on S rated tires, so i'm gonna run em till there bald.
