Andrew
yes that engine has been linked to before, and i do believe someone tried to contact them for verification of said power output. But they never responded.
19Cutlass94
after reading that, no way its putting out those numbers... and with the work they have done to it, it would cost WAYY more than that. needless to say its sounds like BS to me. jman093
It's probably a gross horsepower rating and not brake horsepower.
supertrick_05
Yeah, that's what I thought...cuz I'd like to start out with a new 3.4 when I get my W-body, and if that puts out what it says, then HELL YEAH!
RobertISaar
the only thing on it that isn't a factory part are the cams.... stock cam is .370 lift on intake and exhaust, their's supposedly has .430 and this is from 60*V6, its the headflow: Lift E I 0.0500 52.2 51.6 0.1000 99.5 101.2 0.1500 137.7 150.1 0.2000 163.7 190.1 0.2500 183.7 220.1 0.3000 195.9 245.9 0.3500 203.2 265.7 0.4000 210.0 277.6 basically, you're not gaining much by increasing the lift. maybe a LITTLE more power up top, but not what they're claiming
mfewtrail
For that price, just turbocharge your stock DOHC and have money leftover.
Octavarium454
Plus the 3.4 is not a motor that would put out more torque than horsepower either. I've seen that link before, and I truly believe that is complete BS. For those numbers to be true I would think that thing would have to cost around 4 grand. Like someone else said, just turbo your current motor.
RobertISaar
Plus the 3.4 is not a motor that would put out more torque than horsepower either. most engines with more than 4 cylinders, incuding this one, do in FACT make more torque than HP... its completely normal, not to mention expected.
