94 olds vert
No the engine does not actually squeal. But From the passenger side where all the belts are sounds like its squealing. This has only started to happen since I bought a foam product to degrees the engine. And today it would not stop. Any Ideas? If you guys want to know anything else ask and i will find out for you

Galaxie500XL
..and if replacing the belt doesn't eliminate the squeal, you likely have a bad tensioner.

Could be a pulley making the noise as well. While you have the belt off, spin all the pulleys and wiggle them.
