Possessed door locks/interior lights

My '95 Cutlass convertible is doing something weird. When I put my left foot on a certain part of the floor, the door locks cycle, and the interior lights come on! I'm sure it's probably the carpet pushing on something, any suggestions on what I'm looking for?

pull back the carpet. there is wiring there and something must be chaffed and grounding out. most likely it is the wiring from the door peg switch shorting to ground...
