jake91 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 first are these leather seats even leather and can you dye them. if so then my second question is. since i cant seem to find a nice white leather seat at a decent price. i was wondering if i could get a black, tan, red, ect seat, and dye it white, or would the original color show through? White93z34 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 in order to dye something it has to be a lighter color then what your target color is. Quote
jake91 Posted August 27, 2009 Author Report Posted August 27, 2009 okay thats what i figured. thanks Quote
xtremerevolution Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 what color are your seats and what are you trying to accomplish? Quote

mfewtrail Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 If you get the redone, position the seats far enough back so that you can kinda hover over the seat, then sit straight down in them instead of sliding into them. Sliding into a seat is what kills the driver's side bolster. That's why most AQ9 cars have torn bolsters(the leather either rips or the plastic bolster mount tears first, then the leather rips). jake91 Posted August 28, 2009 Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 yeah thats what i try to do now Quote
