White93z34
gona be a pain in the ass, subframe has to be dropped down to gain access.
kuntzie
Remove the motor mount on the passenger side, to do thus u gotta remove the 3 bolts holding the a/c compressor in. The mount is held in with 5 bolts on the block and 2 on the subframe.. Â Use a cherry picker and lift up the engine on the most passenger side. This will allow for enough cleance to do this fairly easily... Oh ya, disconnect the battery and remove the starter.. If u don't have a cherry picker, use a 2x4 anda Jack and Jack up of the exhaust manifold... Put a few pieces of 2x4s under the haromic balancer to keep it lifted. Â This can be done in like 2 hours or less
Andrew
they are a really good re-usable gasket. you might just try snuggin the bolts up a bit first.

Drummer
ok well i tried tightening the one sise up and the bolts just keep turning anf turning and turning. Which would be more likely stripping the bolt or block? I'm only thinking this cause the bolts have pretty much all the same tension and it doesn't get greater or lesser. Andrew
impossible to say. pull the bolt out to see. the pan wont leak missing just one bolt.
Drummer
well thats what i didn't want to see, the bolt broke off when i tried loosening it so i guess all the other bolts are on their way but there's only one way to find out sooo next oil change is gonna be a pain
