94GPGTP
When I have the AC on in my 1996 grand prix se 3100 the fan/fans don't always runs and the AC is not that cold when stopped. But at crusing speed it's cold. I know usually right away when you turn the AC on both fans are suppose to run. When your stopped and I thought up to 40 MPH. Well this morning when I turned on the AC i checked to see of any fans were running and neither were running and the AC was sorta cold till I drove away. Now yesterday I cheked the fans when I got hone and the car was running 210 with the AC on in park and only the main fan was running not the secondary. What's happening here? Relays are good and both fans do work because I have jumped the relays for them both to run. I'm confused. Could the computer be at fault? I do have a 97 MC 3100 computer to put in the car but I was gunna get it tuned first.
Crazy K
There is only one problem. the fans are working normally. your interpretation of how they work in the problem! the a/c being on basically lowers the set on temperatures of the fans, so... example: A/C off fan 1 220 fan 2 230 A/C on fan 1 210 fan 2 220 actual numbers may vary. otherwise, you may need to add a little freon if it is not cold enough when idling...
