Dark Ride Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Okay, my TGP has a very strange problem. Everytime I go to start it if its sat for a while (usually a week) it won't start unless I prime the fuel pump by turning the key on, off, then on again. I have to turn it over and prime it one more time, then it'll fire right up. I'm thinking that its gotta be in the fuel system somewhere. What do you guys think? I should probably note that it idles great but it likes to bog down to the point of almost dying on light throttle, but runs awesome on WOT. Quote

hotrodolds Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Check the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vacuum line off of it, and see if there is fuel in there. If so, replace it. If not, then it should be OK. Quote
