DOHCRagtopguy
I'm contemplating changing the crank sensor on the 3.4 in my wife's car to try and get it running. I read in the manual last night that it's necessary to remove the heat shield on steering and the intermediate pipe for the cat converter. Is this true? Or is there another way of getting around it. Maybe you GM Techs can help me out on this. Car is a 92 Euro Sedan.
DOHCRagtopguy
Aw, cmon! Somebody out there had to have done this before. How about it, guys?
91GranSport
If the manual specifies that you gotta do it, then do it! Seriously though, if you can get to it without having to remove other parts then great, if not then you're stuck to removing all the other shit that's in the way. I've done it before but not on a 3400 SFI.
