shadow
My car seems to turn over alot before starting when Hot and the engine feels like it surges in and out of power at Wot only. Could I have a defective coilpack? Seems worse after the car warms up. yesterday it shut off on my while driving for the first time. I looked but cant see the coil packs anywhere? Are they alot of effort to change? Thanks
RobertISaar
not necessarily spark, could be fuel.... coilpacks SHOULD be under your front exhaust manifold(at least thats where they are on a N/A 3.1)
Garrett Powered
If you ask me they are easy to change. you just remove the rad fan, and even zip out the whole radiator real quick and you have tons of room to work on it. also disconnect the turbo oil feed line. Garrett Powered
I don't think so unless its in the FAQ section.
Addicted To Boost
You don't need to remove the oil feed line to access the coils.
Garrett Powered
you don't have to remove the rad fan or the rad either. my point was it just makes it a hell of alot easier.
