Breakdown
Mmm kay. Only did the scraping noise two or three times but had plenty of examples of shitty shifts. I have a witness who I will also have try to describe it. Buck(driver)- Seems to 'double shift' or slip when you give it enough gas to downshift. Not like flooring it at all, just enough to downshift once. As for the noise, happens right around a moderately heavy shift. Kinda a tinny, sheet metal rattling, buzzing, IDK. Chelsea(passenger)- So I was ridding with Buck and it would slip in the shifting whenever he would force it to shift. It would mainly happen when he was already going over 40 and would give it gas, then it would feel like it would slip once and then catch the next time. Also the scraping sound...It was faint and hard to hear sometimes but it would happen when it was about to shift to the next gear. It was a metal rattling sound, definitely not a good sound.... Tim: "I was in Buck's car and it was nice, and I was all like how long are you going to own this and he said forever, and I started remembering the Cutlass Supreme, and the Ciera and the Escort and was like okay, but I really don't think it's gonna happen." Bob: "I was skeptical, but I actually like the tan leather interior, but I hate Ken, your transmission is gonna die soon." Fred: "Wilma! Why isn't Dino outside? He's eating the couch!" Wow! I'm just dumbfounded . . . it's not that I think that Chelsea is dumb or something it's I just can't see how her comments contribute to us diagnosing the problem. Just to make sure I'd bring puppets to your nearest GM dealership and put on a show for them, tell them that you're going to explain what's wrong with the car, and the dog is Buck and the cat is Chelsea (unless you want to be the cat, then the cat can be Buck, kind of panther like I guess). Regal_GS_1989
Personally, I would get it checked out. Even a simple pan drop will show you if there is something major failing. If it is a hard part, the pan/filter will be full of metal shavings, and/or metal pieces. Unfortunately, without hearing it, its kinda hard to diagnose. Breakdown
ASS! Just trying to describe the problem more Buck! You just don't see the big picture here - do you?? So I'm going to hand feed you a little (try not to get too turned on) Go to the dealership every other day doing the puppet show, make sure that you're in the service and in the sales area when they are very filled with customers, do a girl's voice for Chelsea and if anyones asks if she's your girlfriend say: "Ew!!! she's a girl!!" After about three weeks a bunch of men in suits will come after you and one of the these things will happen: 1.) They will bring you into a board room and agree to fix your car on the condition that you sign this document saying that you'll never visit their dealership again. 2.) The men will bring you to an institution where you can live and will not need a car anymore. Chelsea can still come visit, but eventually they'll work on getting you away from the puppets.
