Galaxie500XL
I've just become the proud owner of a 1995 Cutlass Supreme Convertible 3.4 DOHC... It has a few issues, I'm hoping someone here has had similar experiences. After working under the hood to fix numerous vacuum leaks, I found a "mystery wire". It is at the back of the driver's side strut tower, and has an oval connector with two wire connections. The wires appear to be orange, and the second wire is black. The wire is no more than a foot long, and I've not figured where it belongs. Any suggestions?

IRONDOG442
Either a fuel pump test lead or UB3 wire or magansteer !
Galaxie500XL
Now, THAT was embarassing. I spent an hour and a half looking DOWN, trying to figure out what was disconnected...never once looked up! It was the hood light...I had assumed the bulb was bad, and never had looked closely at it. Connected the wires, and it lit right up...thanks!
