GrandPrixLover2
So my car was running rough a little bit, with a BIG TIME MISFIRE on cylinder two. Come to find out it was the plug wires, which were only a year old. Hell we took one of the plug wires off and the damn metal part that goes on the plug came out of the boot. Just snapped right off. Well we went to O'Reily's auto parts store and we found a set of BWD Select custom fit wires for my car and I hve to say that they are AMAZING!!! Now when you hit the gas she'll throw you into the back of the seat. And that's saying something for a 3100. She runs a lot better now, and man do I love it! UnRealKillR
i've been looking at wires for my car, what are some good brands?
GrandPrixLover2
I'm not sure what a good set of plug wires would be just for the simple fact that maybe different wire sets work for different people. And it depends, are you looking just to replace them, or are you looking for a performance increase? So all in all it just depends, I'd ask the mechanic you trust the most and see what they say. Are you insane? The only power you are going to feel is the power lost in the old wires. YOU WILL NOT gain any additional power over stock. No stutter, no hesitation. And I have to agree with you Slick, I know I won't get 50+hp gain with just wires. LOLZ, maybe with other mods, but not routine maintenance.
