xtremerevolution Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 are we talking about the 500hp corvette ls7? Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 LS7 would be quite difficult, the tranny mount is completely different. Quote
Imp558 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I'm very familiar with these engines. Making them run isn't all that bad, it costs like $425 to get the wiring and computer done, It's 5 wires to hook up. The drive by wire isn't scary to hook up or anything. You mount the new pedal and run 6 wires to it, I think it's easier than getting it to jive with the cable. People put that engine into all kinds of things. Quote
patgizz Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 you guys are in love with GM electronics or afraid of modifying harnesses. send off the 5.3 harness/pcm to speartech, tell them what you want, make the mounts, drop it in and send power to and ground the harness, turn key. not quite that simple but LS stuff is so well supported that the technology is there.
