supreme_style21
'02 GP - 3800 NA engine - 60,000 miles I'm due for an oil change this week.. I'll admit I check the oil only monthly. I put on about 2k a month. Low oil light came on yesterday after work. I was about 2 quarts low No spots on the garage floor. Valve covers don't seem to be leaking. Filter, drain plug and oil pan gasket shows no sign of leaking. A 60k engine shouldn't be BURNING oil? I run synthetic blend. What am I missing?? Regal_GS_1989
My Regal uses a bit of oil between changes too. Mine will generally go down about 1/4 to 1/2 a liter on a ~3500 mile change interval. I have been told that a good engine will burn a little bit of oil between changes. I also have about the same mileage as you too. I just checked my oil and it is about 1/4 below the full mark. I am also slightly over my mileage for my oil change.
