Sidewinder Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 I got the trailing arms installed earlier this week finally. Made a huge difference from stock. I do have a question about them though. I was reading the repair manual the other day just to look at the lateral arm instructions and I ended up reading that you should put the weight of the car down on the arms before tightening the bolts. I never actually thought about that so we never ended up doing this, should I loosen the bolts and re-tighten them or will it be ok? Quote
Venom Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 I tightened mine while the car was in the air and its been like that for over a year with no problems. Quote
Crazy K Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 the idea is to tighten the bushings at the normal angle they sit at, otherwise they could be tweeked a little. Quote
