AWeb80 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 with not having a cat, the exhaust is yellowing my bumper around the tips.... how do I get rid of this? claybar? Quote
Cam'ron Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 claybar should be able to get rid of it, pushing the tips out a tad "might" help with it if thats an option for ya. Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Tips pushed out, or a small extension on the exhaust, with the tips remounted.. Quote
GP4U2NV Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Better get waxing....... The heat is "drying" out the paint. I think that I would also coat the area behing the bumper with rubberized undercoating. Quote
Brian P Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 [me=Brian P]waits for pee joke[/me] You'd better get on that quick... try some polish or cleaner compound and hope it's just deposits. Quote
Grand Moff Joseph Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Adam - ditto on the claybar and polish STAT. If you can send me a pic of the affected area, I can research other products that might help you out here. Quote
1990lumina Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 This happens to my Lumina bumper every winter. I just use rubbing compound and wax it and it comes off. I guess that's what I should expect having the muffler and outlet exiting under the car and not behind it lol. Quote
