dodgethis Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Hey guys I had done my brakes in November and I just wanted to ask a quick question. In the front where I have rotors should the caliper that sits on top of the rotor should rock a little with my hand? I mean should it be secure so much so that it shouldn't budge when I put my hand on it to rock it a little? I had came down the road and sounded like something was rattling when I would run over a sewer plate and thought I check the caliper and the T60 bolts holding them on. The braking is fine I just wanted to ask if i should get them tighter because they are not supposed to rock with my hand. What do ya'll think. One more thing, the bolts are on there tight, and they are not loose to the point where I can tell when i get my hands, or fingers on them to turn them. Quote
Crazy K Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 some motion of the calipers will be normal. Does THE BRACKET they are mounted on move??? that would be a problem. ME = FAIL! Quote
