Crimson Fury Z Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 noticed it a few minutes ago. the serpentine belt is flicking it all all over. the only concentration of coolant i can see right now is under the ac compressor(which doesn't work btw). the belt seems to be dry, and the "flick point" is where the serp belt diagram sticker is. theres a nice line on my hood pad above the belt and alot of it is going on the passenger side of the fan and radiator. i'll charge the digi cam battery for a couple of minutes and get a pic or 2. this angers me............. Crimson Fury Z Posted July 3, 2009 Author Report Posted July 3, 2009 pics, you can see the saturated areas on the fan and below the compressor; http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v496/bokkire_jin/misc_pics/3400ftl.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v496/bokkire_jin/misc_pics/3400ftl2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v496/bokkire_jin/misc_pics/3400ftl3.jpg Quote
GOT2B GM Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 I'm still gonna say the seal has failed on the water pump, and coolant is coming out the weep hole and being flung everywhere by the water pump pulley. Quote

Crimson Fury Z Posted July 4, 2009 Author Report Posted July 4, 2009 i think after this car, its back to a lq1 or a car that predates 1981, so i can throw a party under it's hood while fixing a water pump in 10 minutes(including travel time!). Quote
GOT2B GM Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 These water pumps are easier than most!! Quote
