well i though i had it fixed but i guess not. once again i am stuck with no turbo. this is what happens. (1) I put it down and it only pushes out 4 or so pounds of boost. (2) I put it down and it reads 14 or so but you can't feel it. its almost like the waste gate is opening to slow or something. please if you have any ideas let me hear em. also does anyone need any parts from a TGP in a junk yard by my house. i think it might still have turbo and everything but i have to check first. any small parts anyone needs let me know. ill try to get them for you if its not still f-ing snowin here.

Hey!,

I could use a few parts off that car. Im looking for the crossover pipe off that( the pipe that the turbo connects to and i need the exhaust elbo that comes off the turbo to the downpipe). is that too big of a part(s) for you to get?....Oh about your boost problem. Im not too familair with the TGP, but since that turbo came on the car from factory i assume its a com, puter controlled vaccum solenoid wastegate..correct?.. So that means the computer is controlling when it opens/closes.

Low boost problems might be a clogged air filter, or the wastegate accuator is stuck, or you have a leak somewhere...i dont know. its hard to say when its controlled by the computer. Sorry

I would check all your vacum hoses to the turbo.. make sure there are no breaks or loose connections. Also check you westgate system. you should be able to push it open when the car is off. make sure it is not catching or stuck. another to make sure all piping is connected well and is not colapsing or is not tight. which would cause a boost lost.. KCP..

I may be a little late for this, but thought I'd give it a try; I could use:

Coolant Level Sensor (And it's harness)

Boost Control Solenoid (And its harness)

However, since the entire engine is for sale as a unit, the solenoid prbably isn't available...

Are you hearing any boost leaks? Like loud hissing noises when you get into boost? If not, it's probably a wastegate control issue. Check your vacuum lines to and from the wastegate solenoid.

Another possiblitly is a very clogged catylitic convertor.
