Reapper
Ok I've been trying to figure this out for the past couple weeks. My damn cooling fans don't turn on. Replaced the Temp. Sending Sensor (Engine Temp. Sensor) and the relays for the fans. But there really isn't much to the whole system besides the Computer in the middle. Could the computer be messing up? I did find that if you take the connector off the Temp Sensor then the fans come on all the time but I've been running them on a jumper wire for the past couple weeks. Any ideas? Am I on the right track or way off? Thanx in advance for the help. Laterz, William Grimmer
per0781
even check to see if there are 12 volts at the connector when they're supposed to turn on?
Reapper
No I haven't. That sounds to simple. But then agian if the relays are getting the proper signal then they would turn on and then the fans. Since the relays are brand new I know they are good. I know that if I hook them hot they work so I know the fans work and if I pull the connector off the Temp sensor with the relays in then the computer turns the fans on because it goes to a safe mode. All this leads me back to the computer not getting the or sending the right votages when in normal operations. Anyone know what volts and on which prong on the relays should the computer send to make them turn the fans on? Thanx for the help.
