Will a 99 rear disc brake setup fit on a 91 lumina not the suspension just the disc brake hub the bars bolt to

even then, finding a 1.5 with disks isn't all that common...

WHY, GM, WHY? You put 4-wheel disks on all other w-bodies, why not the 95-99 Monte/Lumina?

You can purchase a spindle, bearing, caliper and rotor from a 1997-03 grand prix and it bolts up. Just not the parking brake yet.

yes... but... you would have to go with coilovers.

Lucky you, there was a Gen II parked outside, so I double checked what I thought correct. There is no provision for the leaf spring on the knuckle like the first gen. so yes, you cannot use the gen II knuckle on a gen I unless you have done coilovers.

 

However.... if you have a gen 1.5.... you might be one to something.

 

 

also... with some work... you could probably install the superior drum-in-hat parking brake design as part of the upgrade.

I plan on doing a coilover as part of lowering my 1st gen along with the front I want a 2" drop so anyone know what spring I need I want in really good on corners and stiff the rest of the time it is basicly a street legal race car
