E13 on Pontiac '94-?? Cassette deck . . .

[Breakdown]

I guess it's overdue for me, but just happened today. I pressed Preset while an adapter tape was in the deck and it ejected it, but now thinks that a tape is in there and make an E13.

 

Here come the questions:

 

I have to be cost concious but not having my music is not an option. I've tried those radio adapters, I don't like them, the antenna in that car sucks.

 

So, that leaves me with a couple of options:

 

1.) Get an aux line put in, so I'd have a 1/8" plug that would be 88.9FM or something in the front.

 

2.) I have a CD radio that is untested install??

 

3.) Fix deck.

 

(Both the current Tape Deck and replacement CD Deck have 7band equalizers.

 

Before removing the tape deck that's in there is there anything that I need to do for theft lock?

 

I also have some questions about removing the bezel, I've looked at Slick's diagrams, and I'm lost already - doesn't take much!
