I got a set of factory brackets modifed. basically a 1/2 strip of metal was welded on one side. imagine the outer bracket with a brace that runs across the outside edge... making the "C" shape into a "D" shape...

are you saying that I can put this bar in???? Using a trailor strap and (es) bushings?

I am using stock bushings with the stock mount, and had to get someone to weld the blocking bar in, which keeps the bushing from popping out from the outward pushing force of the bar.

the ES bushings may be strong enough to work if you compress the bar, but I cannot guarantee it.

Mine fits fricken perfect... Couldnt fit any better..

Ken used the wratchet strap to install it on mine but that proved unneccessary.. The bar is the exact proper length as whats needed..

With the Gen 2 lateral links the bar should fit right in without issues.

You can get rid of them.
