Did anyone notice that the rear upper inner bolt hole for the lateral link is oblonged for a small tow adjustment?

Yes, it works alright, but it tend to slip eventually. Installation of cambolt kits allow it to hold much better..

I just installed the lateral links in the center of that slot.. Or I you can do it to either extreme.. Just for the sake of alignment sanity, keep them even in the slots from either side.. ie you install one and its on the outside part of the slot, install the other side to the outside of the slot..

You get the point

Even our alignment machine shows that there is NO adjustment.

Shows how much they know.

Your alignment machine sucks  Our somewhat older Hunter DSP6600 shows the adjustment for rear toe on Gen 1 Ws... Now heres a tib bit, 88 and most 89 W's acutally had cams already back there...

Ok, everything is going back together........ last couple questions.

1) What color loc-tite for the bolts? (was told this is better than anti-corrosion)

2) What spot are you running your coil overs? (lock is at? top, middle, bottom)

3) Do you rub the 1/4 panel? (w/ the tire) (using 2nd gen lateral and spindle)

1. I don't use locktite, I use anti-seize....but blue if you want.

2. Middle...I don't know the dimension off hand

3. I don't rub, but I've also rolled my metal fender out of the way.

Unless the gen2 lat links are an inch longer than gen1's, you'll be ok. you can lower up to 2" and still be good. i did it.

if you're still worried, raise the spring nut to halfway, then lower the car slowly to see if you have room. call me around 6pm central and i can explain it in better detail. and will make more sense.

Well, with my spacers and larger offset, i'm only 1/4 less than you.....if my numbers are right. it'll be close. just call and i'll tell you how to check it carefully

1 - Use Antiseize... No loctite of any form

2- Im sitting at about the upper-middle. My springs are different so start with the middle and adjust as necessary

3- No rubbin on my CS even when I did a 'practice slam'. Your GP has flares that will allow more room. Worse case scenario, remove your flare and trim the quarter panel a bit where its rolled.

I can not take it off. It is glued on and painted over.

Ok, well as long as your not trying to tuck the tires you shouldnt have an issue...

Running a full 1-1.5 degrees negative camber will also help with clearance and help the handling. Since its not your DD you shouldnt have to worry about tire wear much..

Im running -.6 degrees camber and my tire comes close to touching, but not enough to cause rubbing
