VERY low mile Lumina

I was at the local Chevy dealer picking up a gasket for the girlfriend's '03 Impala and saw a pretty shiny Lumina sitting out front. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Original everything, whitewall Firestones, Lumina mudflaps, the paint was like new. Cool car, I have a friend checking to see how much it sold for.

He said he has a friend checking.

No shit on the base Lumina's. I wonder who the hell bought this and then parked it.

it's ALWAYS base model Luminas I see with low mileage and in good shape.

x2. They always have those ugly as shit hubcaps to. 550 miles is ridiculous, id love to hear the story behind that one.

Im more than willing to bet that some elderly person bought it back in 1990 and got very sick not too much after that and it probably sat in a garage at a family member's house for 18-19 years. Thats the most practical thing i could think of. I wonder how all the vacuum lines are on that car though from all the sitting.

Reguardless.....I'd rock it.

Same lumina that mine was, only with a different grill since it's an older year. I later had replaced the hub caps with nicer ones, and removed the luggage rack, only to leave ugly holes. But that is a hot Lumina!! I want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found out a little more info on the car. The dealership bought it from whoever was getting rid of it, they didn't trade it for anything, so I'm thinking elderly/estate. The car sat on the lot for about a week before some guy came in and paid $7500 cash for it. For that money you could have gotten a good rental Impala or Taurus with under 30k, so I'm thinking the guy is planning on saving it as an investment. You'd have to hold onto it for like 10-20 more years for many people to care though, but who knows, it might show up on Barrett-Jackson or something.

holy. that's awesome. I went thru there again last week to see if it was still around, but nowhere to be found.

Well where else can you get a 600 mile car for that price I guess.
