atl.cut
I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme V6-204 3.4L DOHC VIN X SFI. I put a 1993 Lumina 3.4 DOHC crate engine in it. I have fuel pressure. I can not use the scan tool. When I plug it in I dont get the usual blinking 12 code. The light just stays on. New coil and ignition module. No spark to the plugs. The motor just turns over. Any thoughts?
95 vert
Did you check all fuses? I've popped fuses doing engine swaps.

89GP_SE
Fuses are all good. Whats the best way to check the crankshaft pos sensor? unplug sensor, take volt meter, attach leads to sensor and have someone crank engine, you should see voltage increase and decrease, like 0-7-0-7 and so on

89GP_SE
Is there a specific way to hook up the volt meter if you have a digital one it wont really matter, if you hook it up backwards it will just read a minus number (reverse continuity) if you have an analog one it simply wont work..
