Bryan921SS
It has been doing it ever since the LIM was replaced. It only happens when turning the car off...sounds like air either escaping or getting in somewhere...I wonder if it is a leaky gasket...the coolant and oil are nice and clean still...but the car has been getting a little hot here and there. BXX
Well the best I can say is look at all the vacuum lines... Once again, this is one of those help me threads that cant be diag'd over the nets.. If you dont have access to a smoke machine, take it to a shop and have it smoked.. Only way to find the leak unless you have someone repeatedly start and stop the car while your under the hood listening to narrow it down... rich_e777
I hear this on my 94 Cutlass 3100 cutlass too. i think this sound is coming from the rear valve cover where there is a hose or tube that connects to in front of the throttle body, im not sure if this is pulling air into the valve cover or recirculating the air back into the engine, probably recirculating. But on my car i dont notice any loss of perfomance or any oil leaks from the area but i always hear it coming from this part of the car. They should have made all the two door W-bodies RWD. Give the mustang some competion
