well after installing my rstb and handling super nice the past few days when making left turns i feel the rear loose. any clues on what can be affecting this problem?

i recently put new kyb all around and mounts. also i changed the mono leaf pads. tire pressure last time i check was 2 weeks ago and they where at 36psi. rear alignment? when i put the kyb's i push them as far back as they would go on the bottom slots. yesterday at home i crawled under my car to check it out and they are still where i left them. i did notice the back driver side sway bar bushing was not in correctly was kinda half in half out in the bracket the same bracket i took out to change the strut. maybe this is my problem?

um how would i check if they are okay? car just turned 36,000 miles

Edit: Would this also be the cause of my loud popping noise i hear on the left diver side when i go over hard bumps?

Did you tighten the strut bolts enough?? If you didnt use a strong impact or a huge breaker bar, you didnt..

The thing is while you may think the bolts are tight, they really arent cause with new struts you need to keep tightening them and compress the strut flange onto the knuckle and then torque the mothers down..

I would have to say 90% of alignments I have to do after people installed their own struts, I have to properly tighten down the strut bolts.

And you DO NEED an alignment.. guessing isnt good enough when your camber tolerence is only about .8degrees..

And on our cars, if you mess with camber, your mess up toe.. Like that on most cars.

And if you have it aligned and they say the rear is in tolerences, THAT ISNT A PROPER ALIGNMENT. Proper alignments put it into dead specification!!!

A loose upper strut bolt at the mount can cause the popping too.. An strong impact is damn near a requirement to tighten them down properly..

And a broken trailing arm will do the same, and is the higher probability. If your car has even been around salt, and given its age (mileage means jack unless its been in a museum) you can still have it rust and break. Doing a bunch of hard turns of hitting potholes are enough to bend or break our stock trailing arms..

I did use a big ass breaker bar and i turned it till it would not turn no more. I guess ill do alignment when i come back from the meeting.

About the trail arms where can i get upgraded ones?
