speedo sticking

got a 05 monte with the speedo staying at like 60 mph and it will only move up, i can get it to go down by turning the key on then off, on-off etc... until it falls all the way to 0. it will work for a few days after that and then do it again.

 

i heard something about a body control module but ????????

 

any ideas

for some reason that doesnt sound bcm related... you might have to check a wiring diagram on that but also might take the cluster out and see if its physically sticking

by the way that it is moving it definitely seems electrical but im not sure which module or whatever it may be.

 

but i will check a wiring diagram once i find one
